At Long Last... I HAVE DECIDED ON A NOVEL IDEA. *cue mad scientist cackling*

So, it has come to this. The story is thus: The year is 1994, three years after the fall of the Soviet Union. The Iron Curtain has fallen, and democracy is returning to many parts of Eastern Europe. As Europe begins to come together again, in the darkness, an organization dedicated to protecting mankind has been formed. A top secret offshoot of Interpol, the Supernatural Affairs Bureau, has been formed. Their purpose is to study supernatural events and entities, and protect people from dangerous entities.

The Iron Curtain essentially halted occult research in Eastern Europe as the Union made a concentrated effort against Occult research within their territories. Some small groups continued to operate in secret, however they were separated from the rest of the world, and faced great difficulty in communicating with each other. After the fall of the Soviet Union, The Supernatural Affairs Bureau made contact with those groups it could find and began expanding into Eastern Europe.

A team of Agents has been sent into Transylvania to establish the Bureau’s presence in the region. The team sets up base in a small city in the Carpathians and almost immediately notices many strange events. The most concerning is the series of grisly murders occurring at night, victims throats cut, but never any sign of another person in the area, no footprints, witness, any sign of the killer. The team begins to investigate, and one of the agents, a female mage apprentice, comes across a strange, vaguely humanoid figure… holding a bloody knife, staring at her with empty eyes, and possessing a far too wide, sharp smile. The woman is frozen in fear as the figure slowly approaches, as if it is savoring her fear, at least until the werewolf tackles it, leaping down from a nearby rooftop., turning the predator into the prey Which is where the story *really* begins
